Weighted Blankets by Weighted Evolution

Have you ever heard of weighted blankets?? I was introduced to this phenomenon by a really close friend of mine who co-sleeps just like our family does. We were chatting about the blog and work and I told her how hard it has been the past few months because every time I try to sneak out of the bed to work, I wake up the boys!! Then I’m stuck lying there, staring at the wall until Martin comes home and takes my place in the cuddle zone.

I put the boys down to sleep, covered them with the blanket and they drifted off so quickly and without all the kicking, turning and crawling all over the place. Once they were sound asleep, I was able to slide right out of the bed and get to work!! It was amazing. I cannot recommend it enough for any light sleepers!!

Super Easy to Wash

We received these blankets as soon as the stomach flu hit my children and I am pleased to say that these washed beautifully. The blanket comes in two pieces: the duvet cover and the inside weighted blanket. It was extremely easy to unzip the duvet, untie the inner blanket and wash! I love how the ties on the inside of the blanket keep the weighted blanket perfectly in place at all times. Genius idea.
