Why men don’t notice if their partner has experienced an orgasm
Female orgasm, this unknown. Very often women tend to fake orgasm for various reasons, other times theFemale orgasm is seen as that pivotal moment to enshrine involvement in sexual intercourse or a relationship (raising expectations and anxieties), while still other times it is experienced with tranquility and passion. But how is women’s orgasm viewed by the male point of view? What happens in men when their partners reach orgasm and why is it that sometimes they do not recognize it?
How to notice that a woman is having an orgasm
Orgasm can be a beautiful moment of pleasure for her and a reassuring signal for him. Despite this, often the partner does not “listen” well to the signals given by the woman and, just as often, comments with a “did you come?” the end of the sexual performance, without having understood the maximum pleasure the woman has really achieved or not.
Yet there are some signs that the female body throws out, more or less involuntarily, during the achievement of orgasm and previous moments of arousal. Here are what are generally the small body signals a woman feels when she is experiencing an orgasm:
- Muscle contractions: Pelvic muscles often contract and, once orgasm is over, these muscles release;
- Tension: muscle spasms may also be contemplated in other areas of the body (such as the thighs, feet, or torso). Physical tension will probably be felt and then a relaxation and release of the muscles, which could also be felt quietly by the partner;
- The size of the clitoris: When a woman is aroused, as well as when she reaches orgasm, the clitoris, vulva (the vaginal lips), and vaginal canal tend to swell slightly, then return to their natural size once orgasm and the arousal phase are over;
- Heat: The blood flow that causes swelling of the genital area usually also accompanies a sense of intimate warmth that the partner can also feel;
- Lubrication: As early as the arousal phase, lubrication of the vaginal walls is evident, reaching outward. During orgasm, vaginal discharge tends to increase, sometimes even reaching squirting;
- Breathing: Another aspect that changes during orgasm is the frequency of breathing and heartbeats, which increase and become more frequent and faster;
- Sensitivity: The woman’s body is likely to become more sensitive, especially around the genitals. It is no accident, in fact, that after orgasm the woman has the need not to stimulate the vaginal area for a few seconds.
A key aspect that should not be underestimated is that it is not necessary to always reach orgasm: one can experience pleasure even without reaching extreme pleasure and, most importantly, not for all people orgasm means the same thing. That is why it is important listen to each other and understand that in sexuality there are no set rules, but simply the serene living of the pleasure, love and passion that you create with your partner.
Why does the partner sometimes not notice?
According to an American study, most men do not notice when their partner reaches pleasure.The research was conducted by Brigham Young University and published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine, examining 1,683 heterosexual couples. This research confirmed that men reach orgasm more easily than their female partners: the former, in fact, reported that they reach the climax 87 percent of the time, while women confirmed that they reach it 49 percent of the time.
However, the aspect to be highlighted concerns men’s understanding of their partner’s orgasm attainment: 43% of the male sample showed that they do not correctly notice how often their partner reaches orgasm.
So what does this depend on Not understanding whether the woman has experienced an orgasm or not? There can be various reasons, of course, here are some common ones:
- Faking orgasm: Indeed, the behavior of some women at certain times can mislead men. The latter, in fact, may naively ask “did you come” because they are unsure of what they heard from their partner during intercourse;
- Involvement: other times they may be so involved and engrossed in making love to their partner that they do not notice the signals that the female body is sending out;
- Reality is different from porn: partly accomplice to the widespread use of online porn, many men are unaware of how female orgasm takes place in reality. In fact, the woman does not necessarily react blatantly with moans and facial expressions during sex; on the contrary, sometimes the orgasm is mild and not very intense even for the woman.
